The test does not have to bring bad news
Many people postpone testing simply because they are afraid of what it might show. Prevention is not about looking for disease. It is about gaining greater confidence that you have not overlooked anything important.
A negative result can provide reassurance. At that moment, the test did not detect a warning signal, and you know that you have done something for your health.
If a warning result does appear, it is neither a verdict nor a diagnosis. It is information you can act on and discuss with your doctor.
